Criteria and Information
DEADLINE – August 31, 2008 - 5P.M.

SWHCA is seeking applicants for our 2008-09 Queen Court for
Fiestas Patrias.

Criteria is as follows:
1. 15-19 years of age as of August 31, 2008
2. Must be enrolled in school
3. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75
4. Must be involved in community service
5. Must be willing to fund raise for Queen Court Projects
6. Must agree to sign a contract for community service
7. Must agree to sign a dress code
8. Must attend monthly SWHCA Board Meetings
(2nd Tuesday of the month/ Queen Only)
9. Must attend SWHCA events as requested
10. Must be available for the events listed below

SWHCA will provide:
1. Queen Court Orientation & Training
    Saturday, September 6, 2008 - 10a – 3p
2. Arizona Queen Court Goodwill Tour – Fall 08, Summer 09
3. Scholarship: Queen $1,500 Princess $500 Princess $500
4. Letter of Recommendation for future opportunities.
5. Participation in parades and other community events
6. Evening gown for Coronation event

Tuesday September 2, 2008 / Avondale City Hall
Queen Court Orientation: Saturday, September 6, 2008 (Site TBD)
